Triangle Networks CEO Appointed to Board of Federation of Communication Services (FCS)

Paul Anslow, CEO and founder of Bristol-based Triangle Networks, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Federation of Communication Services (FCS), helping to support providers as they drive the UK’s communications industry forward.

Anslow’s appointment underscores the growing influence of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) community in national telecoms policy, at a time when regulatory changes and the looming national switch to all-IP networks are transforming the sector.

The FCS is the UK’s not-for-profit industry association for professional voice and data communication providers, championing innovation, fair access, and regulatory clarity across the sector. Anslow joins the Board to support the representation of MSPs, a vital but often underrepresented part of the telecoms landscape, ensuring they have a voice in regulatory and policy developments.

With over two decades in the business-to-business (B2B) telecoms sector, Anslow brings a unique regional perspective shaped by his deep roots in Bristol. He founded Triangle Networks over 20 years ago and has overseen its evolution from a traditional telephony company into a leading SME internet service provider delivering high-performance connectivity solutions for businesses across the UK. Triangle Networks has quickly established itself as both a trusted partner, bridging the gap between key changes in the industry and translating those to be easily understood.

Notably, he was instrumental in launching CityFibre’s network in Bristol for the B2B market in 2016, a key milestone in expanding full-fibre infrastructure across the region and the digital boom which has followed.

Paul Anslow, CEO of Triangle Networks added “The FCS has provided crucial support to Triangle throughout the 12 years that we’ve been members. Our commitment to fairness and compliance requires significant resources, something we, and many smaller providers, don’t always have in abundance.”

In his new role, Anslow will focus on bringing regulatory navigation and helping MSPs understand and meet the evolving compliance landscape, including Ofcom’s focus on full-fibre infrastructure for the benefit of the UK.

David Alldritt, FCS Chair commented: “The high-calibre new directors bring industry experience and currency, and those attributes are essential if we are to remain relevant and effective in the work we do for our members.

“I’m sure that they will also bring fresh perspectives along with their expertise.”
